A Memoir(1883), memorial volume anonymously prepared by Furnivall, paying tribute to his mistress, the Shakespearian scholar 'Teena' Mary Lilian Rochfort Smith, who died when she accidentally set fire to herself, apparently whilst attempting to burn a letter from Furnivall's wife Eleanor.
