Returns to Britain on 3 Sep 1916 after catching a fever. Returns toWestern Front May 1917 at Vimy Ridge. Stationed to Italian-Austrian Front, Nov 1917, at Clerganzi, near Vicenza, Italy, to defend the Caporetto offensive. Attack on Tomba, Austria-Hungary, 31 Dec, 1917, 1460 prisoners taken.
