History
Thomas S Basnett, entered as a pupil at St Thomas's Hospital, 29 Sep 1775. He appears to have practiced as a surgeon in Nottingham. Joseph Else was Surgeon to St Thomas's Hospital, London from 1768 to 1780. He was appointed Lecturer in Anatomy and Surgery in 1768 on the unification of the medical schools of St Thomas's and Guy's Hospitals.
