Correspondence with Dr Christine Stephanie Nicholls, assistant editor of the Dictionary of National Biography, asking Cooper to write a biography of Sir Maurice Dean, former Permanent Under Secretary of State, Air Ministry. Also copies of correspondence between the Dictionary of National Biography and Sir Folliott Sandford, former Deputy Secretary, Air Ministry, asking for Sandford's advice regarding a list of officers from the RAF being considered for inclusion in the Dictionary, with letter to Sandford from Cooper giving his opinion on the list.
