Guy's Hospital general entry of pupils 1832-1840': manuscript volume contains lists of pupils at Guy's Hospital and including date, pupil number, name, name and place of person to whom apprenticed, and amount paid for courses in practice of medicine, materia medica, experimental philosophy, midwifery, physiology, botany, medical jurisprudence, comparative anatomy, anatomy, dissection, surgery, physician's practice and surgeon's practice. Also includes list of hospitals and infirmaries in the UK; lists of pupils serving six months as dressers along with the name of surgeon, and amount paid, 1832; list of pupils and payment for course in Practical Chemistry, 1839-1841. Pasted in the back of the volume is an annotated printed copy of the courses and fees for Guy's Hospital Medical and Surgical School for the session of 1839-1840.
