William Cleaveland Swayne's certificate of attendance at two courses of lectures by John Haighton, on the theory and practice of midwifery, and likewise attended and delivered in real labour, 19 Apr, 1811; Guy's Hospital certificate of attendance at two courses of lectures on the theory and practice of medicine, 23 Apr 1811; and St Thomas's Hospital certificates of attendance at the practice and operations of surgery as a pupil in this and Guy's hospital for 6 months, and also attendance at lectures on Anatomy and Surgery, during which time he dissected and attended the anatomical demonstrations, 18 Apr 1811; and of attendance at lectures on Surgery delivered by Astley Cooper, 30 Apr 1811.
