Small manuscript volume No 11 of surgical case reports of pupils of Mr Hilton, describing cases encountered at Guy's Hospital, May 1850-Jul 1851, including ward reference, name, age and occupation of patient, and description of condition, symptoms, and treatment administered. Reporters include Mr Beddome, Mr Hamerton, G Puckle, Henry S Mathews and FE Cockell. Some details of their length of attendance or number of cases seen are also included. Also contains printed copy of directions for the recording of cases, and an index arranged alphabetically by disease.
