Manuscript volume of surgical case reports of patients admitted to Charity ward, Guy's Hospital, (Vol 2), attended by Mr Hilton, Jul 1856-Jul 1860, describing the patient history, condition, treatment and progress of the patient. Also contains contents page which lists date of admission, name of patient, bed number, disease, date of discharge, result, page number and reporter's name; as well as printed copy of 'Points for observation in surgical cases' which lists the information to be included in a surgical report.
