Small manuscript volume of surgical reports by pupils under Mr Bransby Blake Cooper, describing cases encountered in Guy's Hospital wards, Oct 1849-Apr [1852], including ward reference, name, age and occupation of patient, and description of condition, symptoms, and treatment administered. Reporters include Henry Duncalfe, Mr Cutcliffe, W K Curtis, Mr Holman, R B Mason and Mr Bianchi. Some details of their length of attendance or number of cases seen are also included. Also contains printed copy of directions for the recording of cases, and an index arranged alphabetically by disease.
