Manuscripts of Hamilton's poems, including 'The stoic's adieu', 'To our own beech tree', 'A honeymoon song', 'To flowers', 'Sunrise', 'Regret', 'To clouds', 'Child life', 'Lines on leaving Gersappa', 'A song of common sense in love', 'The Ballad of Hádji and the boar' and 'Sonnet written to a pretty P & O passenger who fell suddenly sick in calm weather'. Many of these poems were subsequently published in his The Ballad of Hádji and other poems (Kegan Paul and Co, London, 1887) and Now and then (Methuen and Co, London, 1926). 1 file
