Retrospective account of operations in Palestine as Military Governor of Jerusalem, 1938-1939. With plan of operations to re-occupy the Old City and re-establish law and order; secure roads, especially from Jerusalem to Jaffa and Tel Aviv; reopen the railway from Jerusalem to tel Aviv; and carry out raids on the cities to arrest suspected rebels and confiscate weapons. Including account of the execution and success of these plans. 5pp
