The Walrus was first published in October 1929, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s poem The Walrus and the Carpenter. First published on an irregular basis, it was later published quarterly. The magazine was funded by an anonymous donation and contained details fundraising schemes and events for supporters and Friends of the Hospital. (Also see KH/APP1/2/7)
