A quest for the spiritual components of care, papers given at a 1986 Yale University conference, 'The secular and non-secular spiritual issues of death and dying', edited by Florence Wald (New Haven, Yale University, 1986), including Cicely Saunders' paper, 'The modern hospice'. This edition, in a case decorated with an image of the painting 'White dove' by Prof Marian Bohusz-Szyszko, was presented to Saunders on her birthday, 1986.
