Guy's Hospital Staff Meetings and Occasional Meetings: minutes and papers, 21 Nov 1879-1894, 1902-1903, including the Staff Meetings instigated by the opposition of the medical and surgical staff to the appointment of a new matron and the introduction of changes in the management of the nursing staff of the hospital, 1979. Initial meetings focus on the correspondence between staff, Treasurer and Governors in attempt to resolve the dispute. From 1882, the meetings (sometimes styled School Meetings, but not to be confused with the Guy's Hospital School Meetings) deal largely with recommendations concerning medical and teaching staff appointments.Also contains minutes of the School Expenditure Committee appointed by the School Meeting, 18 Nov 1902, to report as to the best means of effecting further economies.
