Between the foundation of King's College London in 1829 and the incorporation of all faculties of the College (with the exception of Theology) into the University of London in 1908, students were assessed under examinations set by the College, as well as the examinations of professional and learned societies, and were also able to attend classes for matriculation from the University of London. Thereafter students of the College took examinations set by departments of the College and in the case of final undergraduate and postgraduate examinations, papers approved by the University.

The Fall of Milosevic archive, 1994-2002, consists of interview transcripts, videotapes, research files, press cuttings and published material concerning Slobodan Milosevic, former president of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and his fall from the height of his power in 1995 to his trial in the Hague for war crimes and genocide. It includes VHS videos of interviews as well as transcripts of the interviews with, in most cases, detailed listings of the questions asked. The interviews incorporate eye-witness accounts: from government officials in Europe, America and Russia who describe their conflict over the NATO bombing campaign against Milosevic; from Milosevic’s wife, deputy and Army Chief of Staff who detail how he refused to take threats to his position seriously; from his successors who tell how they plotted to replace him; and from Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) commanders leading the guerrilla campaign against Serbia, as well as from ordinary people caught up in the ethnic cleansing.

Complete transcripts of 38 filmed interviews concerning events leading up to the 9 Nov 1989 when the border between the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) and the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) was opened, and the demolition of the Berlin Wall began. The interviews were recorded for the production of the television documentary _Fall of the Wall, _which was broadcast in 1994. The collection also includes programme scripts and press releases for each of the hour long documentary episodes titled 'A Hole in the Wall' and 'The Fatal Error'. Interviewees were either present or involved in the decisions and events which led up to the final destruction of the wall and include government leaders in Czechoslovakia, Hungary, German Democratic Republic (GDR), Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), and the Soviet Union, government officials and Politburo members, organisers of the Pan European Picnic, 19 Aug 1989, East German and Czechoslovakian civilians, border guards and security forces, a Foreign Ambassador, and an East German dissident.
