Volume consists of part 1 'Introduction', including summary description of the climate, geography and character of the enemy and of the conclusions of the report; part 2 'Navy' and part 3 'Army', including organisation, tactics, training, deployment of armoured corps, artillery and infantry, electrical and mechanical engineers to allow forces to function in an undeveloped area, modifications to communication systems to render them suitable for a jungle environment, recommendation for research on and preparation for use of chemical warfare, recommendation for the use of simulated sounds of troops and vehicles as a psychological weapon, methods for deception and camouflage, personal equipment, vehicles and animals for jungle warfare and details of necessary operational administration. With photographs of cable laying and uniform; diagrams of equipment, transport of pack animals and camouflage techniques; maps showing route of the mission; statistical tables and charts. 1 volume.

Volume consists of part 4 'Air', including chapters on air transport, the naval air service, airborne troops, air support, tactical and artillery reconnaissance, air operations and intercommunication aircraft; part 5 'Combined operations' including analysis of previous and recommendations for future combined naval and armed forces operations; part 6 'Medical Services', on minimising loss from tropical disease, especially malaria. With diagrams of equipment, latrines and modifications to be made to a glider to allow the transport of mules and bullocks; statistical tables and charts. 1 volume.
