Images include: preliminary excavations; views of surrounding buildings, streets and rooftops; a visit by the commissioning property developer, Irving Tar Bush; the digging of foundation trenches and pier holes; the erection of the steel frame; excavated fragments of old water pipes; stone masons, riveters, asphalt layers, welders and other workmen on site.
