Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London, including the resignation of George Blake, Assistant Master at King’s College School; Gilbert Thomas Burnett (1800-1835), Professor of Botany, recommending the appointment of Edward John Chance (1805-1895) as the first Demonstrator of Botany. Also includes an estimate from Henry Bryceson (1775-1870), organ maker, to replace the barrel organ in the College Chapel for a finger organ; Robert William Browne (1809-1895) accepting the Chair of Classical Literature; the successful application of Daniel Butler for the post of Assistant Master at King’s College School.
