Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London including Leonard Horner (1785-1864), Secretary of London University (later University College London), requesting a copy of the College Charter; Sarah Henderson appealing for compensation, on behalf of her mother Mrs Henderson of No. 1 Strand Lane, for the loss of her home due to the building of the College (see KA/IC/L1); Sir Andrew Halliday (1782-1839), physician, requesting permission to transfer one of his shares in the College to Sir William Cosway; Henry Hobhouse (1776-1854), member of College Council, stating when he was available for Council meetings.
