Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London including Sir Henry Halford (1766-1844), physician and member of College Council, approving the form of the letter sent to successful applicants for posts at the College; Bisset Hawkins (1796-1894), thanking the College for appointing him the Professor of Materia Medica and Therapeutics and regarding the creation of a Materia Medica Museum; Francis Hawkins (1794-1877) thanking College Council for appointing him the Professor of the Practice of Physic (later named Professor of the Principles and Practice of Medicine).
