Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London including James Lane supporting the compensation claim of his landlady, Mrs Henderson, as the College planned to demolish her home, No. 1 Strand Lane (see KA/IC/H2); Sir James Langham withdrawing his name from the list of subscribers to the College as Life Governors could be appointed by virtue of their office even though they were not members of the Church of England; the successful application of Joseph Lowe for the Chair of Principles and practice of Commerce. Also includes typescript correspondence regarding the donation of a letter by Lowe from the University of London Library, 1953.
