Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London including C H Lake requesting the use of a room for meetings of the Society for the Development of the Science of Education, including a report of the Society; Leone Levi (1821-1888), Professor of the Principles and Practice of Commerce, requesting the use of a room in the College for his lectures to the Working Men’s Club and Institute Union; Sir Joseph Lister (1827-1912) accepting the Chair of Clinical Surgery. Also includes a petition to College Council calling the College to provide education for women.
