Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London including the resignation of Nassau William Senior (1790-1864), Professor of Political Economy; Robert Smirke (1780-1867), architect, regarding the building of the College including the fitting of gas lights in the basement, additions to the Medical Department, the building of the river port, the construction of additional rooms for the School; Stockwell School requesting permission to be brought in union with the College, (‘Schools in Union’ were district and other grammar schools which the College awarded an annual scholarship and other privileges).
