Manuscript letters to the Secretary of King’s College London including G W Tanswell enclosing a list of subscribers to the College from Canterbury; Henry Thompson (1797-1878), writer, offering his services to teach classical literature at the College; Alexander Thompson donating to the College two large fossilized bones, thought to be the leg bones of a ‘mastodon giganteum’; John Thompson requesting permission to bring his school, King Edward VI Grammar School, Bromsgrove, in union with the College, (‘Schools in Union’ were district and other grammar schools which the College awarded an annual scholarship and other privileges).
