King's College London Registry slip books, 1918-1968 (Ref: KAR/FPS1). Forms typically give name, age, date of birth, schooling, degrees, scholarships, exams passed, address of student, address of parent/guardian, date of matriculation, session, courses, detailed courses, exam results. They are continued in a record card series (Ref: KAR/FPS2).

Organised in an alphabetical run by surname. Female students who married may be filed under either their married or maiden name.

Biographical history
The Registry is responsible for the organisation and audit of academic and educational provision throughout the College, most notably in overseeing examinations and academic assessment exercises, and by way of organising ceremonies and graduations. Recently, the Registry has become a sub-section of the Office of the College Secretary and Registrar that has responsibility for servicing the Council, its main standing and special committees, and the Academic Board.

The Registry maintained its own student file series (Ref: KAR/FP) which complements information provided in the slip books.

Transferred by the Registry in 1981.
Conditions governing access
Files containing personal data are closed for 80 years and sensitive personal data for 100 years from the date of the most recent document in the file.
Administrative records are generally closed for 20 years except for published material and some committee and other minutes.
Where open, access is subject to signature of Reader's undertaking form, and appropriate provision of two forms of identification, to include one photographic ID.
Conditions governing reproduction
Copies, subject to the condition of the original, may be supplied from open material for research purposes only.
Requests to publish original material should be submitted to the Archives.
