Bound case notes of Professor Partridge (1805-1873). Medical disorders and procedures include anus fistula, back injury, angular curvature, ulcer on leg stumps, fibrous ankhylostomiasis of left knee, thigh injury (includes use of carbolic substance in accordance with Lister antiseptic principles and repeated in several other cases within the volume), stone in urethra, neck tumour, hip disease, stricture, cervix epithelioma, concussion, haemorrhoids, carbuncle, erysipelas (skin infection), dislocation of femur, necrosis of radius, skull fracture, groin swelling, femur fracture, senile gangrene, buttock swelling, burns, elbow joint disease, death due to carbolic substances administered with treatment, bladder growth, axillary abscess, acute periostitis (use of drainage tubes), congenital inguinal hernia (includes coloured drawing), bowels stoppage, and cranium tumour.
