Eric Templeton Lummis was born, 1920; commissioned into the Royal Anglian Regiment, 1939; Lt Col, 1966; retired from the Army, 1968; died 1999.William Murrell Lummis was born, 1885 or 1886; enlisted in the 11th Hussars, 1904; served in France and Belgium, First World War; transferred the Suffolk Regiment, 1916; 2 Lt, 1916; Lt, 1917; Adjutant and Quarter Master, School of Education, India, 1921-1925; Capt, 1928; retired from the army, 1930; ordained deacon in the Church of England; canon of Ipswich, 1955; died, 1985.
