Ron Ridenhour – blew the whistle about My Lai'. File of material relating to Ronald Ridenhour, whose letter to Congress members concerning reports of atrocities by US soldiers at My Lai, 16 Mar 1968, led to the investigations, including manuscript and researcher's typescript notes [1989-1990], and photocopies of Ridenhour's letter to Congress members, 29 Mar 1969; news reports concerning Ridenhour, 1969, 1977, 1985, 1988-1989; and correspondence between Congress members and the Secretary of the Army concerning Ridenhour's allegations, Apr 1969. Also includes one audio cassette of radio interview given by Ridenhour to Art Finchley, CKNW Radio, Vancouver, Canada, 18 Nov 1969 (approx 7 mins) concerning the allegations of a massacre by US forces at Pinkville (My Lai) and request for investigation to take place.
