Letter from J M Crease, Thomas Firth and John Brown Limited, Sheffield, Yorkshire to the Mission du Ministère de l'Armement, London, in reply to two letters of French Cdr A Gosselin, Mission du Ministère de l'Armement, London of 23 Jan 1940 and 7 Feb 1940 relating to a request on behalf of the French War Office for sample plates of tank armour, explaining that no action would be taken by the company to fulfil the request until consultations had taken place between the Mission du Ministère de l'Armement and the Ministry of Supply on the grounds of possible duplication of experimental work. 1p
