Letter from J M Crease, Thomas Firth and John Brown Limited, Sheffield, Yorkshire to Stern in response to his letter of 16 Jan 1940, asking for clarification from the Ministry of Supply or the Admiralty as to whether they were to accede to a further request from the French Mission du Ministère de l'Armement, on behalf of the French War Office, for sample tank armour plates, cemented and homogeneous, of 40 millimetres to 100 millimetres thick. 1p
