Report by Stern of an interview with Sir James Lithgow, Chairman, Tank Board at which Lithgow proposed that trials of the TOG 2 tank at the Experimental Establishment, Farnborough, Hampshire should take place in the first instance before the Tank Board or Tank Executive Committee who could then recommend a trial before the General Staff and the two men discussed matters relating to Stern's proposed appointment as Director General of Administration and Statistics, Ministry of Supply. 1p
