Notes by Stern of a conversation with US Col G A Green, Mission of William Averell Harriman, US Special Envoy to the UK in the course of which Stern noted that the decision to import US light tanks and medium tanks with a heavier armour by the end of 1943 marked the end of tank development in the UK and Green stated that trials of the US Heavy Tank T1 had shown that Stern had been right about electric transmission and the use of a heavy gun and heavier armour. 2pp
