Letter from Sir William Scott Douglas, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Supply to Stern, stating that the only work the Special Vehicle Development Committee, Ministry of Supply was authorised to complete was on the TOG 2 tank, reiterating the content of a letter from Capt the Rt Hon Oliver Lyttelton, Minister of Production to Stern of 11 Sep 1942 concerning the termination of the TOG 3 tank project and denying Stern access to Ministry of Supply reports. 1p
