During the recataloguing of this collection in 1997, it was discovered that some of the reference numbers of Allenby's Boer War letters were incorrect (see 1/2). These have now been corrected, so researchers may find that some reference numbers differ from reference numbers cited in earlier publications. A concordance has been compiled to cross refer between old and new numbers
