Translated Ottoman Army planning notes, Sep 1918

Cutting of article comprising a translation of a document captured by the Desert Mounted Corps from an Imperial and Royal Liaison Officer in the Ottoman 8 Army to the Military Plenipotentiary in Constantinople, notably surmising that the British will attack the Turkish front during the Autumn, with the object of occupying Damascus; the lack of equipment and reinforcements available due to transport problems; Turkish and British relations with the Arab tribes, and hints about Turkish dissatisfaction with German ideas and leadership. 5pp.
