Papers relating to the six-part British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) television programme, written and hosted by Mayhew, entitled Men Seeking God, 1954, and the publication of a subsequent book authored by Mayhew, Men Seeking God (Allen and Unwin, London, 1955). The series investigated the faith and rituals of Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism and two branches of Christianity.
